Bank of America Short Sales

Here is just a quick note about a recent webenaire I just sat though with Bank of America. Forget the glitz of my regular blog post, this is just for quick information.

BoA just announced a new coopertive short sale plan that should really speed up the process. This new plan allows for upfront approval of pricing of short sales by BoA! What this means to buyers is that, if the agent has initiated the "cooperative process," the price the house is listed at is the price BoA will be willing to accept on the property!

Traditionally, banks will not start the process until an offer on a property is received. With the new process, they will start as soon as the seller decides they wish to do a short sale. This is exciting because it will speed up the short sale process immensely.

GOOD NEWS FOR BOTH BUYERS AND SELLERS!!!
